Sometimes, going to Court is NOT the answer. In danger of losing their Georgia Driver's License and probably their job because of a Limited Permit violation, we were able to work not against, but with, the Georgia Department of Driver Services to get our client's suspension lifted. Our client paid a simple moving violation ticket on-line. This led to a suspension of their Limited Permit as well as their right to drive for six months! We were ready to go to Court with an Emergency Motion to Withdraw Plea and argue that, based on the law, the on-line payment of a ticket that can suspend your driver's license is not permissible. But, thanks to effective communication with professionals in the DDS, we saved our client money and the aggravation of any courtroom drama.
