Suspension Reversed
July 2020
SMYRNA, GEORGIA – The case involved an accident but no injuries. The Smyrna police officer arrested our client for DUI. The arresting officer reported that our client refused to submit to a test of their breath, blood, urine or other bodily substance. In doing so, the arresting officer then filed a DDS 1205 Form which is notice of that officer’s decision to suspend our client’s license. Because it was an alleged refusal, our client was in danger of a hard one-year suspension of their driver’s license. Long story short, we got to work doing what it is we do best – advocating zealously for our client. Result? The officer’s decision to suspend our client’s driver’s license was REVERSED.
